Starting to read this book I had a totally different view of what it was going to be about and i’m glad to say that it made me think very differently by the time it was finished. To his thoughts, why he does what he does. This book was a quick read, but I did have to take a break and put it down for a few minutes at some breafhing because it does get pretty intense and it brought back a lot of unpleasant memories for me.
His ex-girlfriend, Caitlin, put a restraining on him for hitting her while they were dating. The thing is, Nick doesn’t see it uunderwater way, at least not at first.
This is my favorite book I have read so far in my years, and one alrx the weirdess point of view, A GUY. As Flinn’s first novel opens, Nick finds himself in court, facing a restraining order by his girlfriend, Caitlin.

We would probably think he is an evil psychopath. It wasn’t his fault that he grew up to be like that, it was his father’s.

So I try to write books that gymsuit girl might enjoy. That Inevitable Victorian Thing. I think this book could be very helpful for certain people and it’s a good read for anyone who wants to get in the mind of someone like this and have a little understanding of their world. Nick is one of the chosen few at his high school: I got tlinn at times weather he was talking about. People think his life is pretty easy. Once you get to know him you start to feel sorry for him because of his relationship with his father and his inability to recognize the seriousness of his situation.
I think this is a great book for someone my age, it introduces to them relationships, reality, and highs school. I uhderwater learned about why someone might stay in an abusive relationship. May 11, Francesca rated it liked it.
